The Wilhelmhof is located in a quiet side street close to the traffic junction Praterstern in the 2nd district of Vienna. The city centre (St. Stephens cathedral) can easily be reached within 10 minutes by public transport or within 15 minutes on foot. The same applies to the exhibition grounds and the UN headquarter with its congress facilities. The Vienna Prater with its multiple leisure and entertainment facilities is just around the corner.

Despite its quiet and central location, the Wilhelmshof can easily be reached by different ways of transport. The closest underground, tram, bus and high-speed railway station is only 100 m away. The traffic junction "Praterstern" allows easy access to the hotel by car, too. And in order to keep you from wasting time looking for a parking space, we offer an underground car park for cars and small busses as well as a bus stop (for getting on and off the bus) right in front of our main entrance.

From Westautobahn (A1) - Take Bundesstrasse 1 (Wientalstrasse, Hietzinger Kai, Schönbrunner Schlossstrasse) to Gürtel, (Bundesstrasse 221), turn left and go on Gürtel to the North until reaching the end of Währinger Gürtel and the beginning of Heiligenstädter Strasse, go to Liechtenwerder Platz and turn right on to Augasse.

From Süddautobahn (A2) - Take Bundesstrasse 17 (Triester Strasse) to Matzleinsdorfer Platz, turn left on to Gürtel (Bundesstrasse 221) until reaching the end of Währinger Gürtel and the beginning of Heiligenstädter Strasse, go to Liechtenwerder Platz and turn right on to Augasse.

From Ostautobahn (A4) - Proceed to Bundesstrasse 227 until Friedensbrücke, cross Donaukanal, turn right after Franz-Josephs-Bahnhof, turn right to Liechtensteinstrasse, then turn right (180°) to Augasse
