The apartment building is situated in the 5th district of Vienna (Margareten) with optimal access to public transportation at the end of a quiet dead end street that opens out into the Scheupark. Within 2 min. walking distance you reach the subway station "Pilgramgasse" (U4), only 2 stations away from "Karlsplatz/Oper" or 3 stations from "Stephansplatz". The district has great infrastructure and offers a wide variety of special shops besides grocery, post office, etc. The well known Vienna "Naschmarkt" is close by as well as several nice restaurants and pubs (e.g. "Schlossquadrat" at Margaretenplatz or the "Little Stage", an Irish pub right on the next corner).

In the courtyard of the apartment house there are 3 parking lots available for our guests, that can be rented additionally. There is enough space to leave bikes in the courtyard.

The WALCH apartment house is just off the Mariahilferstrasse (see map), Vienna´s busiest shopping street. Visit local boutiques, international department stores or browse through antique or fine art shops tucked away in the old courtyards and alleyways along Mariahilferstrasse.

A walk along the street brings you the Museums Quarter "MQ", the Museum of Fine Arts as well as the Museum of Natural History.

The Walch apartment houses are close to the international train station of Westbahnhof which has excellent bus links to the airport.

The apartments are also in walking distance to the Vienna Metro.

Our central location means taxis are always close by.

The building "Wohlmutstrasse 24 " is situated in a calm side street, very near the city center of Vienna (“St. Stevens Place”) and even nearer to the Viennese “Prater” with the famous “Riesenrad”, the “Giant Wheel”. It is also not far to the Danube island, the ideal recreation area with possibility for relaxing, swimming, and water sports. Also very near to the apartment you find the Commercial Exhibition Center, the convention center, the Congress Center and the University of European Business Management.
The subway U2 (Station “Messe-Prater”) you got in only 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. The U2 takes you directly to the center of the city within 5 minutes.
You find stores to buy everything you need for daily life, a supermarket is situated in 1 minute walking distance from the apartment. In the surrounding roads there are many typical Viennese restaurants with good Viennese kitchen, (“Wiener Schnitzel”) and beautiful gardens.

Next to the Tram line 1. It takes 12 minutes to the famous Kärntnerstrasse shopping street, the Imperial Palace and the Opera.
Guests can reach Oberlaa's Wien Spa Bath in 12 minutes by car. The Golf Club Wienerberg is 3 km from the property. In the nearby recreation area, there are several ponds, playgrounds, football fields, bike paths and a beach volleyball court.
Belvedere Palace and Gardens are 3 km away and can be easily reached by public transport. Reumannplatz underground station is a 20-minute walk away from the Royal Living Apartments.
